All parents can attest to the fact kids are not happy when it comes to their Cedar Park general dentist. The kids don't want to go to the dentist, and most adults don't either. It is not one of the more exciting things you are going to have in your life, and that is where you need to be calm.
How are you going to help the kids adjust to their new dentist? Are you even going to the right dentist or are you hoping they are good because they have "family" in their listing? You want to do more than just look at their specialization.
I have seen good dentists and bad ones over the years, and it can have a devastating impact. I could say I had a decent dentist when I was younger, and she made it easier for me to adjust. I was not as lucky as an adult, but by then I knew it was okay to have a bad dentist because not all of them were the same.
If a kid has a bad experience right away, they will never know what "good" even means and that is a horror story waiting to unfold.
You have to take them to a good one.
